Copyright & removal requests

Math Research respects intellectual property. This page explains reuse permissions and how to report copyright issues or request corrections/removals.

1) Ownership
  • Authors retain copyright in their original works unless explicitly stated otherwise on the work.
  • Math Research does not claim ownership of user submissions. We host content under the permissions granted by the author and the publishing terms.
  • If a work is labeled public domain or under an open license, it must still be properly attributed.
2) Permissions & reuse
  • Unless a work explicitly states otherwise, content on Math Research is “all rights reserved”.
  • You may read and share a link to the work, but you may not copy, redistribute, mirror, or republish the content (including PDFs/images) without the author’s permission.
  • Some works may be published under a license (e.g., Creative Commons). If so, the license will be shown on the work page and governs reuse.
  • Short quotations for scholarly commentary, with proper citation, may be allowed under applicable law in your jurisdiction.
3) What can be hosted

The platform may host original submissions, permissioned materials, open-license materials, and public-domain works. We may restrict or remove content when there is a legal or policy concern.

4) How to report a copyright issue

If you believe content infringes copyright, please email us with the details below. We review requests quickly and in good faith. Alternatively, you can use the report button on the article or course.

Please include:
  • Your name and contact email.
  • A link (URL) to the page on Math Research.
  • A description of the copyrighted work and why you believe it’s unauthorized.
  • If possible, evidence of ownership or authorization (optional but helpful).
5) What happens next
  • We acknowledge receipt and start review.
  • We may temporarily restrict access while investigating.
  • We may contact the uploader for clarification.
  • We may remove content or correct attribution/licensing labels.
6) Corrections

If something is mislabeled (license/public domain) or missing attribution, contact us and we’ll fix it.
